Language Lab
The language lab at SLVP is an audio visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. The purpose of the language lab is to involve students to actively participate in language learning exercises and get more practice than otherwise possible in the classroom environment.
Science Lab
There are three science laboratories viz. Physics laboratory, Chemistry laboratory and Biology laboratory. The laboratories are equipped with apparatus, models, chemicals and organic specimens for scientific research and.
Math Lab
Mathematics Laboratory is a place where students can learn and explore mathematical concepts and verify mathematical facts and theorems through a variety of activities using different materials. The lab enables the teacher to demonstrate, explain and reinforce abstract mathematical ideas by using concrete objects, models, charts, graphs, pictures, posters, etc. and also provide an opportunity to exhibit the relatedness of mathematical concepts with everyday life. It provides an opportunity to students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations. It enables the students to verify or discover several geometrical properties and facts using models or by paper cutting and folding techniques.
Computer Lab
Description: Computer Lab equipped with computers and software for practical learning in computing.
Music Room
It is the goal of the Music Department to foster this creativity and provide opportunities for self-expression, teamwork and the development of individual responsibility while understanding how music contributes to the richness of our society and world cultures. The children learn to play Western Classical music on the keyboard and the guitar. Separately students are also learning to play Indian Classical Music on the tabla and the harmonium. Drums, Flutes, Mouth-organs, the Mandolin and the Violin are other instruments which are patronized. Students in pre-kindergarten through grade XI are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of musical experiences, both performance and analytically based twice a week. By the end of The our School educational experience and course of study in Music, all students will have been given the opportunity to explore and experience music first-hand through performance, observation and classroom discovery.
Art & Craft Room
Description: Art & Craft Room equipped with materials and tools for artistic expression and creativity.
Dance Room
Description: Dance Room provides space and facilities for dance practice and performance.
Sports
The collaboration and co-operation demanded by team sports, the growth and development that stems from testing sports talents and skills directly against those of others and the development of personal character forged in competitive games and races is a part of SLVP athletics. Hence, the sports program strives to develop every student's physical capabilities and to develop qualities such as courage, confidence, self-discipline and sportsmanship. Students are encouraged to choose from the following games: Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Tennis, Football, Dodge ball, Hockey and Swimming. The annual Sports Day is an event in the chronicles of SHRI LAXMINARAYAN VIDYA PRATISTHAN, DESHALPAR where the champions of the school look forward to celebrate their achievements.
Library
The library provides many children with their first chance to use and enjoy a library. The school library is a welcoming place for study and reading. The school library is to support the students and teachers by providing access to current, adequate and appropriate information resources. It is also to ensure that all the students, teachers and staff are effectively using the ideas and information. The library encourages the love of reading and development of student’s independent learning skills.
Conference Hall
Description: Conference Hall provides space and facilities for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Transport
The school administration is adequately equipped with transport facilities with well mannered and trained crew members monitored by the escort teachers on scheduled roots for all its pupils (Jr kg-XI) connecting every neighborhood within a radius of 25 km of school. The routes and stops are ascertained on the basis of convenience to parents and their wards and the costs for the same are subject to change from time to time on the basis of change in fuel prices. The bus service comprises a fleet of 7 buses ferrying students to and fro their homes via various routes covering far-flung areas around Desalpar and Nakhatrana. All the buses are well equipped with a first aid box in case of any emergency.
Hostel
Lodging Facility
In a single room 3/4/5 children stay together. All the rooms have attached bathrooms and toilet with hot water facility. Each child is
provided a bed, mattress, pillow, cupboard, study table, chair and a common dressing table.
Health & medical care
A child specialist visits the hostel regularly & the hostel has a fully equipped infirmary. Particular diseases like skin, eye, orthopedic are
treated by specialist. If a child suffers from any contagious disease then the parents will be requested to take the child home for proper
cure & care. The child can return only when fully cured. The hostels have fully equipped health club and well trained teachers to teach
yoga.
Mess
Four meals a day are provided keeping in mind the liking of the students. The meals are planned by a dietician. We provide all varieties of menu like Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese & fast food.
